Jack Nadel (photographer) Steve Escandon (Artist) and Kieran Sala ("Social Irritant") talk with Maurice about the olden times back when the espresso bar was on Arrroyo Parkway, exsisting only at night, in an incredible town/city of art and architecture when it was the bad part of town, yup, Fair Oaks and Colorado was so run down it was skid row. But still there were these art shops and record stores and vegetarian restaurants with live entertainment by George Winston (yes, that one) on Tuseday nights and and Don Kirby on Wednesday nights. George was trying to play guitar. Don was trying to play piano. In public. Kinda funny in retrospect.
